Fire Fighters at Beverley Fire Station will be holding a car wash on Saturday as they look to raise funds for the Fire Fighters Charity.
Taking place from 10Am through to 2PM Humberside Fire & Rescue Service personnel based in Beverley will be on hand to wash your car.
Shaun Harrison, Crew Manager at Beverley Station said;
“We have done and in the light that has of what has happened in London. Around 600 staff from London were deployed to deal with the awful and tragic incident at Grenfell Tower.”
“The fire Fighters Charity looks after the general welfare of operational Fire Fighters, former members and support staff.”
“Some of those who attended that incident may require ongoing support like counselling which is why we are looking to raise some money.”
“The car wash will be front and also round the back of the fire station. We will have four lanes going and hope people will pop along, get their car cleaned while supporting a very worthwhile cause.”
