Photos from Beverley Racecourse where a good sized crown enjoyed an afternoon at the races that was complimented by stunning summer weather.
Soaring temperatures were matched by the jockeys and horses as thousands watched the action on the track, complete with a few light refreshments.
Horse racing returns to Beverley on Monday 24 July which is en evening fixture with a ‘carnival theme’ and is part of the Go Racing in Yorkshire Summer Festival – a weeklong celebration of all the fabulous racing on the flat in Yorkshire.
