New Kit For Beverley RUFC Colts As Sponsors Back Junior Sport

Beverley RUFC Colts are sporting a new kit this season thanks to the support of the local business community.

The Colts, which is made of players aged 16 to 18 now have playing strip that is as stylish as their antics on the field.

Commenting on the new strip Carol Innes, Vice Chairman at Beverley RUFC said;

“I would like to thank each of the businesses who have supported the Colts squad and Beverley Rugby Club. Myself and the players are delighted with the new strip.”

“Rugby brings many physical and social benefits, including increased confidence, self-esteem and self-discipline, and enjoyable physical exercise as part of a team.”

“Our Colts squad has around 22 players and we also cater for junior rugby for all age groups, all of which provide high quality sport for young people in Beverley.”

“In securing this support it has become clear that companies in Beverley are keen to help promote positive activities and sport for young people in the Town.”

“Thanks to their generosity and them backing the club it enables us to grow the game of rugby at all levels and enhance the overall experience people have while visiting Beaver Park.”

Sponsors’ on the new Colts strip include Alexander Ellis, formerly Beverley Pine, KFM Recruitment Solutions a training and payroll company based in Hull and the Camden Group who helped with club improvements top their club house.

Carol added;

“Through a connection in the club we were introduced to the Camden Group who are an Irish company that manufacture windows and doors.”

“They donated new windows and doors to the club so we put their name on the shirt as a thank you to show our appreciation for what they have done.”

On the pitch the Colts have been enjoying a good start to the season that has seen them make the Yorkshire Bowl Final that will be played in November.
