Beverley Town Football Club will be looking to make it back to back wins this weekend as they face North Ferriby Athletic  in the Humber Premier League.

Last time out Town beat local rivals Walkington AFC 2-0 in the derby to move to fourth in the table extending their unbeaten run  in the Humber premier League to four games.

Town boss, Rich Jagger, will boosted by the return of his skipper Nathan White who has been sidelined due to a suspension.

Speaking ahead of the game, Jagger told HU17.net;

“We are looking to keep our unbeaten run going. That said we are very wary that Ferriby are capable of causing us problems.”

“They have hit a bit of form recently, and I thought they were a decent side when we played them a few weeks ago.”

“Obviously confidence in the camp is high, particularly after a good result and performance on Saturday, if the lads maintain that level we fancy our chances against anyone.”

Jagger will be missing Ryan Saltmer who picked up an injury against Walkington however the return of Danny McHale to the club means Jagger has a natural replacement.

McHale, who quit town for East Yorkshire Carnegie could not have come at a better time for Jagger who said ‘he was delighted to have the big centre half back’.

When the sides met in October in the reverse fixture, it was the Beverley side who secured all three points with a single goal.

Saturday’s match and Blackburn Sports Club while testing should be a game that town win given their recent run of form.

With Craig Muirhead, Alex Stark and Matty Littlefield all available Jagger is certainly not lacking any quality up front.

Their defence however has been key to their recent results with Town conceding no goals in the last four league games.
