Tiny Treasures – Activities For Youngsters At The Treasure House

Tiny Treasures at the Treasure House in Beverley are free sessions designed for under 5s to explore the museum and art gallery collections.

Each session has a different theme and includes hands-on activities, which range from messy play to handling objects, and sand play to craft activities.

The themes for the sessions will be (all on Thursdays from 1.30 to 2.30pm):

8 February – Archaeology
8 March – Line and Texture
12 April – Cooking
10 May – Shape and Colour
14 June – Seaside
19 July – Animals and Outside
13 September – Building
11 October – People and Inside
8 November – Fossils

Lucy Rose, under fives learning co-ordinator, said;

“We are thrilled to be able to offer more Tiny Treasures sessions in 2018, with even more opportunities for young children to explore all that the Treasure House has to offer.

“I would advise all our young participants to bring a change of clothes just in case!”

There is no need to book in advance – just turn up on the day.
