Beverley Community Choir are staging their annual evening of music and song at Toll Gavel Church, Beverley on Saturday 10th March at 7.30PM.

The choir, led by Sue Murray, will be performing a diverse programme of favourites from their repertoire together with some exciting new items.

They will once again be ably supported by the East Riding Suzuki violin group who will wow the audience with their talent and sound. This group, led by Barbara Parham, are an inspiring group of youngsters aged between 5 and 17.

This Spring concert has become an important fund raiser for local charities, and we hope to once again provide some much needed resources to help Marie Curie Cancer Care in Beverley and the Cherry Tree Community Association in the town.

The choir have now produced two a capella CDs. ‘Chasing Rainbows’ is a compilation of songs from around the world and ‘Spirit of Winter’ comprises a collection of carols and Christmas songs from a variety of traditions. Both will be on sale during the evening.

Tickets are £8 (with concessions at £6) and will be on sale at Beverley Tourist Information Centre (now on the first floor in the Treasure House on Champney Road) and on the door.
