Pepperells Solicitors hosted a Champagne Reception to celebrate their newly qualified solicitors to the Supreme Court which included Laura Hyam from Beverley.

Pepperells Solicitors, who say they are proud of their training programme and are excited to see five of their trainees qualify.

Laura’s journey to qualification started at Secondary School with GCSES and then A Levels at College. A three-year university degree followed with a post graduate diploma in legal practice.

She then worked as a paralegal within a firm in the region before joining Pepperells and achieving a training contract and after two hard years work qualified with Pepperells.

Laura, who was thrilled her parents attend the luncheon adding she was so pleased the ten years of hard work and dedication has paid off and I’m now qualified top practice.

Julia Dixon, Communications Director at Pepperells Solicitors said;

“We as a firm place vital importance on growing our own talent. The current make up of our board of directors is evidence of this as it is populated with home-grown former trainees of the firm.”

“We see this is a dynamic approach to business which sets us apart from most other law firms. We do not allow for complacency and our trainees work hard but they learn on the job and are given responsibility for their own clients and case loads from the start of their training.”

“Therefore when our trainees qualify they are far better lawyers and confident young people than any of their counterparts.”

“Laura is a prime example of this. She is far from the archetypal newly qualified solicitor as the training she has undertaken with us has accelerated her development to a much higher level.”

“Laura has gained experience in differing fields during her training but her focus and interest has always been in property law. She is currently an associate solicitor within the Residential Property Business Unit.”
