The RICS Hull & East Yorkshire Local Member Group is hosting a CPD breakfast seminar on the subject of Insolvency in the Construction Industry along with Leeds-based law firm, Shulmans at Sewell Studio in Hull on 25 April.
In light of recent news with Carillion entering into liquidation, the seminar will deal with insolvency during a project and the measures contractors can take to mitigate the risks to their business, when negotiating the terms of a building contract and during the construction phase of a development.
Simon Delaney from Beverley based chartered building surveyors, Delaney Marling Partnership is the Chair of the RICS Local Member Group. He says:
“This seminar will highlight a lot of concerns that construction firms will have at the moment, however it will also be very useful and informative for anyone working in the property and construction sectors. Plus it will also contribute one-hour of quality CPD.”
