Beverley Town Football Club Reserves made it through to the League Senior Cup and will face Withernsea after comprehensive 5-1 semi final win over St George.
Town started brightly and took the lead after 7 minutes when Adam Foster was put through by Rob Northen to Cooly finish in the bottom left hand corner.
St George responded though and equalised after a lapse in concentration from Town midfield allowed St George to capitalise and lob Mike Morris.
Town were set back for 10 minutes as St George tried to get hold of the game, but as St George looked to build a promising attack, Tom Davies won the ball back to play Northen through who lashed home a fantastic half volley from 30 yards.
Beverley came out full of confidence in the second half and began to knock the ball about despite the state of the pitch.
After good work between Joe Thompson and Davies captain Phill Gardner played a great through ball for Northen to finish 6 yards out 3-1 Beverley.
Town were in full control now TD, Gardner and Ben Thompson dominating the midfield battle and marshalled well at the back by Steve Graham.
They soon added a fourth from the penalty spot as the St George defender was adjudged to have handled the ball in the area which allowed Northen to score his hat trick and his 30th goal of the season from the spot.
There was still time for Town to add a fifth goal through Davies. Once again great build up play in midfield allowed Davies to burst through the St George defence round the keeper and shin the ball home 5-1 final score.
Great performance from the full squad to reach the final Town now face Withernsea in the final at Bridlington Town Saturday 12 May.
