CASE are thrilled to announce that we are hosting one of the UK’s favourite events, ‘It’s a Knockout to be held at Beverley Racecourse on Sunday 29 July 2018.
CASE is looking for teams of 10 people (over 16 years old) to take part in the event which could be made up from work colleagues, friends, sports groups or family members.
Whether you’re looking to push your limits, some team building or a fun day out with friends and family, get involved and raise funds for CASE, while you’re at it supporting local people.
This is the first time CASE has run the event and Marketing Manager Steve Rusling said;
“We are excited to be able bring such a much loved event to Beverley Racecourse this year.”
“We think it’s going to be the one of the biggest and best fun events of the summer, but we need teams to sign up, have fun and in doing so support CASE, a charity that supports local people with learning disabilities to lead better lives across Hull and the East Riding.”
“With 2018 being the RAF’s centenary, participants will take part in themed games such as the Dambuster run and inspired by the Oxford – Cambridge boat we have devised our own interpretation of this spectacular event.”
It’s a Knockout was a game show first shown on the BBC back in the 1960’s. Like the game show, It’s a Knockout is inclusive of all fitness levels.
Teams of people compete in entertaining and funny games using bouncy castle type obstacles. The games are run in a controlled environment with the watching audience cheering them on.
The event is free for spectators and CASE encourages you to bring your whole family along to watch.
There will be plenty to see and do from bouncy castles, inflatable slides through to games, stalls and places to eat and drink.
