Beverley ARLC made it ten wins in a row as they comprehensively defeated Waterhead Warriors with a 90-0 win at the Beverley Leisure Centre.

Beverley, who were back on the field after a three week break secured their tenth league win with ease against a Warriors team that played with just 11 men.

The win means Beverley are four points clear at the top of the National Conference League ahead of second placed Barrow Island.

This win has also added to Beverley’s formidable points difference and as we approach the midway point of the season they look odds on favourites to clinch the title.

Head Coach Scott Taylor praised his players saying he was very proud of his side making it ten wins on the spin adding that Warriors unreal effort in the match.

Beverley were able to field a side close to full strength with Jack Humphries, Chris Johnson, Ben Bardle, Lee Stevens and Josh Poskitt the only notable absentees.

Beverley got on with the job with their usual clinical precision and were 50-0 up by the break. Head coach, Taylor was left  with a difficult half-time team talk to make, just urging his side to keep a defensive clean sheet in the second half.

There was a debut try for Lewis Miller to cap off his promotion to the first team after impressing in the Academy and also a hat-trick for Lewis Poskitt to take his season tally to an incredible 19 tries, while Billy Riby also completed a hat-trick.

Alex Starling and Man of the Match Bobby Howdle also got braces.  Sam Brown, Lewis Straw, Louis Hubbard, Alex Calvert and Tom Moor also crossed.

Beverley, in their first season playing  in the Nation Conference League Division 3 are the team to beat, yet only one side has provided the blue & golds with any sort of worry.

Next weekend Beverley will hit the road as they face Salford Roosters, a side they have already beaten with ease on their own patch.

Final Score : Beverley ARLC 90 Waterside Warriors 0
