During a three month period the Kings Head Hotel donated 50p for each and every burger sold at the Saturday Market venue to the Beverley Street Angels charity.
In all, thanks to the generosity of the Kings Head Hotel a grand total of £556.50 was raised.
Representatives from the charity visited the Kings Head Hotel where they were presented with money which will be used to assist vulnerable people enjoying a night out in the town.
After collecting their donation Carolyn Bradbury from the Beverley Street Angels said;
“We are so grateful to the Kings Head for this charitable donation and initiative.”
“The money is much appreciated and will really help continue to service the night time economy guests here in Beverley. Without kind donations like this we would not be able to do the job we do.”
