Beverley ARLFC will be looking to make it back to back wins this week as they host East Leeds at the Leisure Centre.
Following last weekend’s win over the league leaders, Bradford Duley Hill confidence is high in the camp. This was a big win for Beverley in a season that has had few highs.
Since winning the division three title last season, Beverley are still finding their feet in the second tier.
Wins have been few and far between while life on the road has proved difficult for the blue and golds. Beverley though have again enjoyed better results at home. Of their four matches, they have picked up three wins.
Home form will certainly be key to Beverley if they are to keep in the hunt of making the playoffs this season.
East Leeds Come Into The Game Having Won Last Two Games On The Road
East Leeds arrive at the Beverley Leisure Centre having won last time out. Despite being 10th in the National Conference League, the West Yorkshire outfit are not to be taken lightly.
Their form on the road has seen them win twice in four games. More interesting is that East Leeds have won back to back games on away from home.
Yet again Beverley will start the match as underdogs despite being above their opponents in the table.
Manager Scott Taylor is calling for his side to build on last weeks performance. His sides win bringing an end to four-game streak without a victory.
Taylor hopes the result will give his side confidence to kick on and revive their campaign.
Team news is good for Beverley. Taylor is unlikely to make many changes. Jordan Precious and Ryan Watkin are unavailable so there are least two enforced changes.
Lewis Miller and Francis Coggle look set to be vying for places on the bench for the match with East Leeds.
