East Riding of Yorkshire Council is looking to recruit new foster carers to offer homes to children and young people across the East Riding and Hull.
The council is holding a series of information events during Foster Care Fortnight (May 13 to 26) at which people who may be considering fostering can find out more about what is involved.
Suzanna Hills, the council’s fostering team manager said “Foster carers and their families are exceptional people. If you have the desire to help and can give the time, energy and commitment, we strongly recommend you to come along to the information events and find out how you can become involved in the much-needed and highly valued role as a foster carer for East Riding children. We offer an excellent support package and excellent training opportunities”
Prospective foster carers must be aged over 21.
