Four East Riding Libraries, including Beverley, will be hosting ‘Cuppa and a Chorus’ events. These events are a chance to enjoy making music with a group of friendly people and to also sing.
Happening in Beverley on Thursday 26 September sessions will be hosted in a relaxed and also welcoming environment/ While all of this will be washed down with a cuppa and cake!
Councillor Shaun Horton, the portfolio holder for tourism, culture and leisure, said:
“Singing in a group is proven to have a wide range of health benefits, including regulating your heartbeat and improving your mood. I hope lots of people will come along to these sessions; you don’t need to have read music or to have any experience of singing.
“It will be a great chance to meet new like-minded people in relaxed surroundings and find your own voice!”
Places on the sessions should be booked in advance. To make your bookiing please call 01482 392699.
