Cherry Burton Primary School who won £2,000 in Tesco Bags of Help customer vote have completed their project.

As a result of this grant and support from the friends of the school they have built a school trim trail.

With the project now completed and staff from Tesco visited the school to find out how the pupils are benefiting from the award.

Head Teacher Mrs Dawn Joy said;

“At Cherry Burton Primary School we are committed to ensuring our children are as physically fit and active as possible.”

“The support given from Tesco customers along with additional support from our Friends of School meant we were able to install a custom-designed trim trail for all the children to access at playtimes and lunchtimes.”

“I would like to thank both groups because without these vital donations, this would have not been possible.”

Tesco is always looking for community-driven projects to come forward for grants. Anyone who is interested to pop along to the store on Morton Lane, Beverley.
