Westwood Shepherd Huts owner Jason Stonehouse says that partnering with Beverley RUFC is an ideal way to help promote their business.

A family-owned business, Westwood Shepherd Huts specialise in the designing and building of bespoke Shepherd Huts. They have just helped kit out the under 14 squad with new training kits.

Speaking to HU17.net Jason said;

“We decided to get involved with Beverley Ruby Club by sponsoring their U14s as we have an interest in the club.”

“For us as a business partnering with the club also made commercial sense. They travel throughout the region so we see it as a good way of getting our name out to potential customers.”

“Personally I am very passionate about supporting all things local. Therefore as a small family business in Beverley, I fully support trying to keep money in the local community.”

“To do this we ensure we source our materials locally, it is really important to keep money in the local pot. If you start buying from outside the area that money is never going to come back into the local town.”

“My stepson plays for Beverley RUFC so it is also good for us to put something back in. He has been with them for three years and gets a lot of playing rugby here.”

“This squad play games on the West side of the country. By having our name on their kit it gives us even more scope for reaching more people.”

Westwood Shepherd Huts Helps Beverley RUFC Cater For More Supporters

Beverley Rugby Club themselves also make use of one of the huts produced by Jason’s firm. Explaining more he said;

“They use one of our shepherd huts to provided refreshments on match days. At times they can have hundreds of people at the ground on match days.”

“Consequently by using one of our bespoke shepherd huts in this way they are able to increase their  matchday catering.”

“Beverley certainly has a fantastic set up and they also do such good work with young people in the area.”

“It makes us feel really proud as a business to the lads going out there with our name on their shirts. The more shirts we can get out there the better.”

“As we grow our business I hope we can continue our affiliation with the club and also continue to sponsor them in the future.”
