Central 42 owner Eyyup Demir says they have had a huge and positive responsive after they announced they will be offering take out service. They will start taking orders this Thursday, 7 May.
Based on Saturday Market, the popular Tapas restaurant has been closed for weeks as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking to HU17.net Eyyup is certainly looking forward to getting back to work, he said;
“We feel the time is right to now offer a collection and delivery service as we adapt to the current situation we find ourselves in.”
“As as a small business, by offering a reduced menu four days a week we can start trade again at some level.”
“Since making the news public the feedback we have had from people in Beverley has been very positive.”
“We have brought back a small team of people to work. While here we will be fully adhering to the government guidelines of social distancing.”
“Our staff have been keen to get back to work too. By offering this service it allows a small number of them to do so.”
As well as being able to provide a choice of foods, Central 42 will also be selling wines and a selection of beers.
Central 42 Will Be Offering Take-Out Service 4 Days A Week
Eyyup says that the will also ben amending their prices to reflect the fact people will be using their take-out service.
Central 42 will be taking orders from 4PM from this Thursday. To start with the service will be offered Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Customers will be able to place orders up until 9PM and either collect or also have them delivered.
Restaurants and bars have been some of the businesses hardest hit by the pandemic. Many are calling for more help from the government to help protect their businesses.
