The Blue and Golds will lock horns with West Hull this Saturday. They will take to the field in their 2.30pm kick-off at the Beverley Leisure Centre.
It will be Beverley’s first competitive fixture since 14 March 2020, in this Group G of the NCL.
It is the toughest of all fixtures against Premier Division opposition, but Beverley will approach it in a buoyant mood. Victory by
22-14 in a friendly against higher-ranked Stanningley demonstrated their
2021 credentials. Head Coach Tony Spence may find it difficult to drop anyone who turned out in that particular fixture but Sam Roe and Joe Morley will also come into contention for a place in the 17.
Following the latest easing of restrictions by the Government, spectators are now allowed at outdoor community sports events.
However, the club would request that people attending the match do observe social distancing.
