Get Ready For Wild World Heroes, Arriving In East Riding Libraries This Summer!

Pack your binoculars and your books and head for Wildervill. It’s already a pretty cool place, but there are lots of things that the Wild World Heroes can do to make their town even better for the people and animals that live there.

Join the Wild World Heroes at East Riding Libraries for the Summer Reading Challenge 2021 and discover how to make a difference to the environment, too.

The Reading Agency has teamed up with WWF for a very special nature-themed Challenge that will inspire East Riding children to stand up for the planet.

To take part, simply visit your local East Riding Library to sign up for FREE and get your Wild World Heroes collector poster and stickers.

Councillor Mike Medini, the portfolio holder for cultural and leisure assets, said:

“Read six books over the summer holidays, let us know how you’ve got on and receive a finisher’s medal and certificate to show off to all your friends.

“East Riding Libraries can even help you find new books to read and will have some exciting themed activities on offer, too.”

Children who are members of Rainbows, Brownies, Beavers, or Cubs can also use the Summer Reading Challenge experience to count towards their ‘Book Lover’, or ‘Book Reader’ badges.

So – get registered, get reading, and get ready to go wild this summer!

It’s free to join the library – just go online to www.eastridinglibraries.co.uk or pop in to your local branch or mobile (www.eastridinglibraries.co.uk/find-a-library)
