Construction Sessions Using Lego At The Treasure House To Accompany Exhibition

Alongside the ‘Brick Wonders’ exhibition in Beverley Art Gallery until Saturday, 2 October, the Treasure House is providing sessions for visitors to enjoy making their own LEGO brick constructions, inspired by the exhibition, and objects in the Museum collection.

Participants need to book a table for the session online. The table can be just for yourself or up to five people in your family or social group. All are welcome, aged very young to very old!

The events are free of charge and LEGO bricks are provided for use during the session. LEGO Duplo bricks are available for under 5s.

Each table will be provided with a box of sanitised LEGO bricks to construct whatever their imagination presents. The ‘Brick Wonders’ exhibition offers plenty of inspiration, as do the displays in the Treasure House Museum and objects brought out from the stores.

Numbers are limited and table groups are socially distanced. Participants are requested to sanitize their hands and where possible to wear face coverings, except while they are seated at their table.

The two hour sessions are taking place on Saturdays until 2 October, (except for Saturday, 11 September), either from 10am to 12 noon, or 1pm to 3pm. Bookings can be made by visiting www.eastridingmuseums.co.uk/brick-wonders
