Registration is now open for Dove House Hospice’s Make a Will Fortnight, which is due to run from 11 to 22 October 2021.
Now entering its 10th year, the appeal has already raised over £68,500 for the hospice.
Speaking about Make a Will Fortnight, Dove House Hospice Regional Fundraiser, Jethro Shearring said:
“The aim of Make a Will Fortnight is to encourage as many people as possible to get prepared for whatever the future holds and write a will, as well as helping the hospice at the same time.”
“Every organisation involved with this appeal has kindly donated their time to the hospice and so, instead of paying a fee to them, we are asking people to make a donation to Dove House Hospice.”
“At a time in which the hospice continues to battle with the financial and clinical impact of the coronavirus pandemic, appeals like this are more important than ever before.”
“Ensuring that the specialist care at Dove House can continue to be available to those who need it most is vital and initiatives like this help to make that happen.”
“We are incredibly grateful to all those organisations taking part this year and are delighted to have representation in Hull and Beverley.”
