Bringing the wonderful world of Harry Potter to life once again, East Riding Libraries are excited to present Harry Potter Book Night 2022.
There will be dramatic readings to set the scene, an ever-popular scavenger hunt around the libraries and a super quiz that will have Wizard’s Chess fans on the edge of their seats!
Librarian Jess McCarthy said:
“We are so excited to be bringing Harry Potter Book Night back to our branch libraries this year and we think everyone will really enjoy the theme of Magical Journeys.
The 25th Anniversary has renewed the buzz around the whole world of Harry Potter and we hope to bring it alive for not only the ardent fans but those new to the series too.”
Librarian Kimberley Harston added:
“We love to see fancy dress and memorabilia from those who attend and we can’t wait to hear all about what you love about the books, characters and movies and why.”
“Celebrating 25 years since we were first introduced to Harry’s wonderful wizarding world, this one is set to be extra special and is certainly not to be missed!”
Events will be held from 31 January – 5 February at 17 locations across the East Riding.
Most suitable for Primary School children, tickets are £5 per child and places are limited. Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult (accompanying adults do NOT need to book a place).
