Enjoy Cake At Beverley Building Society’s Jubilee Tea Party

Beverley Building Society will continue its Jubilee themed fundraising next week.  The branch in Saturday Market will be hosting Jubilee Tea Party throughout the day on 25 May.

Funds raised from the event will go to Cherry Tree Centre a charity that provides services and support to the local community.

The latest fundraising event is part of the Society’s Building Better Futures.  This incentive is all about how the society can help to contribute to the vibrancy of the community and the people living there.

Beverley Building Society Marketing Manager Debbie Connolly said;

“Members and the public will receive a warm welcome from our team at the Tea Party. While there will also be representatives from the Cherry Tree Centre too.”

“Anyone visiting on the day will also be able to enjoy a cup of tea and a cake in return for a donation of their choice.”

“The branch will be decorated with bunting and balloons to create a party atmosphere while the Mayor of Beverley will also be making an appearance.”

“We are also holding a Jubilee themed cake prize draw on the day.  Beverley-based, caterer and cafe, Cole’s Kitchen will be supplying all the cakes. When we approached them they jumped at the opportunity to support this event.”

Jubilee Tea Party Will Raise Funds To Support Local Charity

Debbie has herself spent time at the Cherry Tree Centre. She says that going forward she is looking forward to volunteering with them.

She said;

“Having recently visited Jo and her colleagues at the Centre I was overwhelmed at the sheer volume of work they manage every day. Above all the fact that they really are changing so many lives for the better is inspirational.”

“I’m looking forward to spending time volunteering with the charity and meeting some of the local people, who rely on its services as a vital lifeline.”

Beverley Building Society will be hosting their Jubilee Tea Party on Wednesday 25 May. It will run from 9.30AM to 5PM.
