Residents in Hull and East Riding are reminded about the availability of NHS services over the upcoming bank holiday weekend.
GP out-of-hours services and Urgent Treatment Centres (UTC) in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire will remain open. It should be noted, however, that GP practices and most pharmacies will be closed on Monday 29 August.
You should check your medicine supply and order any repeat prescriptions well in advance of the weekend.
There are some pharmacies that will remain open over the holiday to ensure you can access their services if necessary.

You can contact your GP practice or NHS 111 if you need GP care during the holiday. Extended Access services in Hull and the GP out-of-hours service can be accessed by calling your GP practice.
Over the bank holiday, the Improving Access Service is also open in the East Riding for GP appointments. You can reach the service by calling 01482 458262.
It is recommended that you contact NHS 111 for urgent medical advice – http://111.nhs.uk – if you need urgent medical advice. For help, if you are unable to access the internet, call 111. In case of a serious or life-threatening emergency, call 999 immediately.
Limited NHS Services Will Be Available
There is no appointment required to see UTCs for minor ailments such as cuts, burns and suspected fractures, and they can be treated without an appointment.

During the holiday weekend, the Mental Health Advice and Support Line for Hull and the East Riding will be available to provide you with guidance and support.
