Teams in Beverley, East Yorkshire and across Vistry Yorkshire united to add a splash of colour to their working days. This was done to support Breast Cancer Now, a national charity.

Thousands of people across the country participated in Breast Cancer Now’s ‘Wear it Pink’ campaign. Staff did this by wearing pink at Vistry’s head office and its Bovis and Linden Homes brands.

Bovis Homes, Beverley groundworks supervisor Paddy McGillian with Sam Marie, assistant site manager Charlie Gorin, Amanda Meadows and trainee assistant site manager Josh Porter all took part.

They sported pink for the charity that to date has raised over £37 million to help fund vital research.

There is no doubt that the ‘Wear It Pink’ drive is one of the biggest fundraisers in the UK. People across the country have been wearing pink in their communities, schools, and workplaces for more than 20 years to raise funds for Breast Cancer Now.

Steve Woomble, sales director for Vistry Yorkshire, said:

“The Wear It Pink campaign is such a great way to help Breast Cancer Now fund important research and provide support for people battling cancer.

It’s fantastic to see Vistry Yorkshire teams from various locations pull together for this good cause and help raise awareness of all the amazing work the charity does.”

As part of the Vistry Group, Vistry Yorkshire offers properties suited to first-time homebuyers, growing families, and downsizers under its Linden Homes and Bovis Homes brands.

A five-star rating from the Home Builders Federation has been awarded to both brands.

In addition to delivering exceptional property quality, the five-star award recognises outstanding customer service once homeowners have moved in.
