Festive family musical The Pirates of Christmas Island is heading East Yorkshire libraries including Beverley this December.

“The Pirates of Christmas Island” is the brand-new festive musical from She Productions that’ll save Christmas from being ‘rubbish’.

A librarian at the library, Kimberley Harston, said:

“We are thrilled to have She Productions back in our libraries this Christmas with another of their fabulous shows.”

“There is no doubt they will inspire the festive spirit with their energy and enthusiasm, and we are especially pleased to be helping to share such an important message about protecting our planet.”

In a new town, away from her favourite person in the world, her granny, 10-year-old Sammy has moved to a new house. Nevertheless, being so close to ‘Christmas Island’, a mystical pirates’ haven off Spurn Point, is a definite plus.

Sammy uncovers the truth about the island that kept giving through some help from pirate royalty and a marooned jellyfish.

Get ready for a brand new family musical tour with She Productions at East Riding Libraries this December. It is a swashbuckling musical that celebrates history’s most famous Pirate Queens as they unite with courage, teamwork, and some swashbuckling tunes.

East Riding Libraries will host the musical from 1-24 December 2022, which is recommended for children aged 4+.

The event will be taking place in Beverley on 17, 21 22 and 24 December.
