With Barratt and David Wilson Homes’ new Key Worker Deposit Contribution scheme, East Yorkshire’s key workers can now qualify for up to £15,000 towards the deposit on a new home.
In East Yorkshire, the scheme has been introduced to Queens Court, Poppy Fields, Fleet Green, Harrier Chase, Minster View, Harland Park, and Hesslewood Park.
A deposit contribution of £750 will be available to key workers for every £25,000 spent, and they can receive up to £15,000 in total. A deposit of £9,000 would be paid by Barratt and David Wilson Homes when purchasing a £300,000 home, for instance.
As a way of saying thank you to key workers for their enormous contribution to the country, Barratt and David Wilson Homes have introduced the scheme. It will cover key workers from the NHS, teachers, police, fire departments, the MOD, prisons and probation services, as well as local authorities and highways.
Daniel Smith, Managing Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Yorkshire East said:
“Since the start of the pandemic we launched a NHS Deposit Contribution scheme, but we now want to open this up to every key worker in the country as a thank you for all their work. We are proud to help all those who work so hard for this country.”
Among the properties currently available through Barratt and David Wilson Homes are Queens Court, Poppy Fields, Fleet Green, Harrier Chase, Minster View, Harland Park and Hesslewood Park.
