Exciting fusion group Track Dogs are set to bring their unique blend of folk, Americana and roots to East Riding Theatre, Beverley on Friday 12th April as part of their Blind Summits and Hidden Dips tour, celebrating the release of their latest album of the same name.

After an incredible 2023, which included playing the Royal Albert Hall and Glastonbury, Track Dogs are back on the road for their biggest tour yet.

Based in Madrid but with members hailing from Ireland, the US and the UK, the close-knit group of expats have opted for cajón instead of drums and trumpet in place of electric guitar, with showstopping four-part harmonies a signature part of their unique sound.

Made up of Garrett Wall on guitar, ukulele and vocals, Robbie K. Jones on cajon, banjo and vocals, Howard Brown on trumpet, cajón and vocals, and Dave Mooney on bass, mandolin and vocals, the band are ready to entertain audiences up and down the country this spring, taking in venues from Norfolk to Canterbury.

The tour coincides with the release of a new single for the four-piece entitled Too Good For This World. Out Friday 12th April, the song is a moving tribute to a friend, and a celebration of her strength, her life, and her spirit.

Garrett Wall of Track Dogs said: “We can’t wait to get back on the road for our biggest tour yet! We always love playing in the UK and bringing the sunny Spanish vibes with us, and it’s fantastic to see some familiar faces when we come over, as well as some lovely new ones wherever we go. We hope everyone in Beverley has got their dancing shoes ready, it’s going to be a big night!”

Track Dogs have been playing together for 18 years. Originally formed as Garrett Wall Band in 2006, they changed their name to Track Dogs in 2010. Garrett has worked as a session singer since the early 90s in Ireland and continues to be a much sought-after voice artist in Spain, for both singing and spoken projects. Robbie is a prolific percussionist and voice artist and performs with many groups in Spain, while Howard is a trumpeter and band leader with one of the best Big Bands in Spain. Dave works as a session player, with Track Dogs as his main musical project.
