
Visitors are in for an egg-citing treat this Easter at Sewerby Hall and Gardens, with a fun filled line-up of family-friendly activities taking place throughout the school holidays.
From Monday 7 April to Sunday 20 April, visitors can enjoy an exciting mix of live entertainment, hands-on workshops, and interactive experiences in the setting of the historic Sewerby estate.
The Easter celebrations will feature Rusticus immersive adventures, where visitors can step into medieval legends to become a musketeer, face heroes and villains, or join the Knights of the Round Table in a thrilling experience that brings history to life.
Visitors with an adventurous spirit can join East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s active coast team which will be running sports activities, team-building challenges, and archery, giving visitors of all ages the chance to get active in the great outdoors.
Animal lovers won’t want to miss the chance to meet the animals at Sewerby Zoo where they can make fruit kebabs for the animals and meet the hoof stock, including donkeys, llamas, and goats.
The Easter fun will reach its climax on Easter Sunday 20 April, with an action-packed medieval jousting tournament featuring England’s top jousting team from Nottingham. Expect heart-pounding action, dazzling horsemanship, and thrilling combat in this spectacular live event.
There’s also plenty of creative fun on offer too, including face painting, magic shows and wildcats natural art workshops.
