Beverley & Pocklington Cats Protection still have space for entries at their annual Cat Show to be held at the Beverley Memorial Hall in Beverley on 15 October.
Cat owners are being asked to come forward and support the event which will see cats compete in a range of classes.
What’s more those who enter their cat will also be helping to support the charity who help to rescue and re-home cats in the local area.
Speaking about the forthcoming Cat show in Beverley Carol Jopling from Beverley & Pocklington Cats Protection said;
“Although a fun show, all entries are checked by Norwood Vets and judged in various classes.”
“In addition to the Open Classes, based mainly on fur colour, there are other classes such as Best Whiskers, Pensioner Cat, Most Appealing Cat or Kitten.”
“There are lots of trophies and rosettes to be won and the show helps raise funds for the many cats and kittens in care waiting for new homes.”
“The show is open to all cats and kittens, including pet pedigrees, provided they are fully vaccinated.”
“They do not have to have been obtained from Cats Protection, however please note that no entries can be accepted on the day.”
