Kings Head Hotel Re-Opens Today Following £100,000 Investment

The Kings Head in Beverley will re-open its doors this week following a £100,000 investment to give the  a fresh new look.

Located on Saturday Market, The Kings Head Hotel has been closed for 5 days so work could be carried out and will be back open ready for the weekend.

Matt Clapison, manager of The Kings Head Hotel explained more about the refit, he said;

“We have a made some changes to the general look of the venue to keep in line with current trends.”

“As a busy town centre venue we are constantly investing in the building and the latest set of works have seen the bar areas, toilets and rooms all given a makeover.”

The latest work comes just months after The Kings Head transformed their beer garden something that was well received by those who use the venue.

To mark its re-opening the first people through the doors will be given a free drink, Mr. Clapison said;

“We re-open on Friday 24 November at 4PM and we want our customers to celebrate this project with us. We will be handing out a glass of fizz to the first 50 people who come in.”

“Overall we are delighted with the work that has been undertaken and anyone who comes in will notice right away the changes we have made.”

In 2015 the company who own the Kings Head Hotel, Revere Premium Bars and Restaurants, invested over £300,000 as they raised the bar with the standard of accommodation available in the town.

The then Mayor of Beverley, Peter Astell who opened the rooms described them as ‘fantastic for the Beverley’ adding that by having this standard and quality available in the Town centre can only be good for local economy.

Mr. Clapison feels this latest project will have the same wow factor he said;

“It will be clear to people what we have had done. Our bathrooms for example have had a huge investment. We are confident everyone will like our fresh new look for Christmas.”
