Scott Taylor says he is pleased with how his sides pre-season has gone. His comments come ahead of their friendly with Myton Warriors.
The Blue and Golds will take to the field this Saturday as they travel to the Marist for what has become an annual event.
Not only will the match give Taylor and his backroom staff a chance to assess their side, but also it acts as a fundraiser. Brain Injury Recovery Charity is the good cause set to benefit from the match.
Speaking ahead of the game Beverley’s Head Coach said;
“About 20 lads will get minutes in this one. Those who don’t will get minutes against Skirlaugh Bulls in the Academy-friendly next week.”
“We the coaching staff are pleased with pre-season numbers and attitude which should bode well for life in Division Two.”
The game will also be a testing fixture for Taylor and his side. Myton Warriors who also play in the Nation Conference League are in the top tier.

Taylor looks likely to hand a debut to new signing Ash Shaw. While there will be plenty of opportunities for others with the match allowing rolling substitutes.
Beverley enjoyed a very successful season both on and off the field last season. They won the National Conference League Division three tile. Also, a number of their players were recognised by the league for their achievements.
This will be the second run out of the season. Beverley were beaten by York Acorn in the opening round of the Challenge Cup earlier in the year.
Anyone wishing to attend the game which kicks off at 1.£)PM can do so. Supporters are being advised that there is limited parking while additional parking can be found at St Mary’s School.
Monies for admission and a prize draw being held on the day will be donated to the Brain Injury Recovery Charity.
