A ‘Wine Savoury’ night is being held at a Beverley residential home to mark its return to full health following the devastating floods of 2007.
Langholm, New Walk, was severely hit by the flood water that tore through the town and East Yorkshire three years ago.
Now the gardens are back to their original glory, and Langholm Friends group are planning an evening to celebrate the occasion.
Tickets for the event, on Saturday 5 June from 6.30pm, cost just £3 and include a glass of wine and entertainment from the Stagecoach Singers. There will also be a raffle and a bottle stall.
