Roll up!  Roll up!  Bus company East Yorkshire are running more buses than ever to Hull Fair!

This year the Hull-based bus company has announced that they will be running extra buses to Hull Fair, making it easier for people to travel there without having to worry about finding somewhere to park the car.

As well as the normal extra buses to Hull Fair from East Hull, Hessle, Anlaby, Willerby, Cottingham and the Avenues, this year there will also be special buses to the fair from Beverley, Beverley Road, Withernsea and Hedon.

A summary of this year’s Hull Fair buses:

Longhill via Holderness Road (Service 56) – buses will run from Longhill every 15 minutes from 3.48pm (12.58pm on Saturday) until 7.32pm.  The last bus back from Hull Fair will be at 11pm.

Hessle via Boothferry Road (Service 66) – buses will run from Hessle until late evening, with the last bus back from Hull Fair at 11.10pm.

Anlaby via Anlaby Road (Services 151, 152, 153) – buses will run from Anlaby until late evening, with the last bus back from Hull Fair at 11.06pm.

Willerby via Willerby Road (Services 33, 34, 44) – buses run from Willerby every 20 minutes until 6pm, then every half hour until late, with the last bus back from Hull Fair at 11.07pm.

Cottingham via Priory Road (Service 63) – buses run from Cottingham, via Priory Road, at least every half hour until 7.20pm, and then extra buses throughout the evening.  The last bus back from Hull Fair is at 11.10pm.

University via The Avenues (Service 103) – buses run from the University of Hull from 6.15pm, then every 20 minutes until late.  The last bus back from Hull Fair is at 11pm.

Beverley via Beverley Road (Service 121) – buses to the fair leave Beverley Bus Station at 6pm, 7pm and 7.30pm.  Extra buses return from the fair throughout the evening, with the last bus from the fair at 11pm.

Withernsea via Hedon (Service 75) – a special bus from Withernsea departs at 6.17pm, then follows the normal Service 75 route to Hull (via Keyingham, Thorngumbald and Hedon) before continuing to the fair.  The bus home leaves the fair at 11.05pm.

Hull Fair buses run every evening from 4 to 12 October (except Sunday, when the fair is closed).
