Abbie on a Help for Heroes Fundraising Mission

Beverley’s very own Miss England hopeful is putting her good looks and high profile to excellent use to raise money for one of the country’s most worthy causes.

Abbie Bulleyment, 18, who models for Fairy Godmothers, on Ladygate, recently claimed the crown of Miss Hull and District 2010 to qualify for the national finals.

And this Saturday Abbie, along with fellow Fairy Godmothers models, will be roving around Beverley collecting money for her chosen charity Help for Heroes – the charity which provides aid for servicemen and women across the country – as the first and most worthy part of her quest to claim the English title.

Abbie and other Fairy Godmothers’ models will be wearing dressed ball gowns and evening wear supplied by the shop, which specialises in the highest quality prom, evening and occasional wear.

Fairy Godmothers owner Jan Clennett says she is proud of the efforts of Abbie, whom she describes as “kind, considerate and very down to earth”.

Jan told HU17.net: “I wish Abbie all the luck in the world and wish her every success. We will do all we can at Fairy Godmothers to support Abbie in her quest to become Miss England.

“Abbie’s beauty goes further then her looks – she’s kind, considerate and very down to earth.

“She has been modelling for us for about a year now and she is a real pleasure to work with.”

It will be a busy day for Abbie. As well as going around Beverley, Abbie, other Miss Hull finalists and local models will be out and about in Hull to continue her fund raising efforts for Help For Heroes.

Her goal is to become a full-time model, although she certainly has the brains to go with her looks as she plans to study Spanish and sociology
