Hancock Out of Hospital in Time for Presentations

Beverley ARLC held their end of year presentations at Hodgsons Pub in Beverley.

The Blue & Golds who won the Ray Speckman Cup were joined by Craig Hancock who suffered a career threatening injury in the game.

Craig has undergone 5 operations though was released from hospital in time to join team mates and friends at the dinner.

Beverley ARLFC held their annual presentation dinner last Friday evening at the Hodgsons. 75 players, supporters and sponsors attended the event with trophies presented by ex Hull Kingston Rovers forward Paul Fletcher. The individual awards for the evening went to Gavin Proctor ( official player of the year, supporters player of the year and players player of the year), Pete Newton (chairman’s player of the year), Craig Hamlet (most improved player of the year), Tony Spence (leading try scorer), Rich Shaw (clubman of the year). There were two other special awards. One ( The Harry Jackson Memorial Trophy) presented for the seasons most memorable moment presented to Lee Stevens for his first try in 4 years! and an award presented to Steve Davidson in recognition of 10 years service.
