A Christmas Mission has been launched by Pepperells Solicitors to provide festive food parcels to local families living in poverty.
In its fourth year, the Christmas Dinner project is on track to serve over 400 dinners to local families.
Providing festive meals to families that would otherwise go hungry through partnerships with churches and food banks. For many of the families receiving meals, Christmas is just another day without presents under the tree.
On Christmas Day, the dinner packs include everything you need to prepare a delicious meal for the family. Christmas puddings, vegetables, sauce, fresh meat and trimmings.
Local churches and food banks will distribute Pepperells’ dinners directly to the most vulnerable families through Morrisons, Pepperells’ food partner.
Julia Rymer, Christmas Dinner Project Manager said:
“People in our regions are struggling more than ever this year with family budgets seeing big squeezes, the cost of living increases have pushed more than ever into food poverty, so with the support of Pepperells business friends we pledge to provide as many dinners as we can, to the families who most need our help.”
“For a £25 donation, we are able to provide a healthy, hearty meal for the family to prepare themselves and enjoy on Christmas Day.”
Please contact one of Pepperells’ participating offices or use the live chat at www.pepperells.com if you are a business owner or self-employed individual who is able to donate £25 or more.
The project involves Pepperells offices in Hull, Lincoln, Willerby, Beverley, Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Barton upon Humber.
