This Saturday’s visitors to Beaver Park are Penrith RFC who lie just above the Beavers in the National 3 (North) League table and will present another stern challenge.
Games between the two clubs have been historically close fought encounters over the years and this week’s is not likely to prove an exception.
The season is now almost half over, and it has become evident that, with the possible exception of the top two and the bottom two sides, all of the rest are bunched in the middle of the table and it looks like remaining that way. Beverley have played well in nearly every match this season and yet have won only 3!
This weekend they badly need another win and, barring any last minute dramas, should be able to select from a strong looking squad. James McKay is a slight doubt as are Sam Atiola and Chris Harding, but, with the 2nds in good form, there is plenty of options to bring in replacements.
Kick off is at 2.15 p.m. and the match is sponsored by The Insurance Partnership. The match ball is sponsored by Kat Productions.
