New Children’s Activities at the Treasure House

As part of an ongoing programme to provide more for younger visitors, some new attractions have been added to the museum displays at the Treasure House in Beverley.

Designed by a local company, Activation Ltd., based in Ottringham, East Yorkshire, two jigsaw puzzles relating to items in the museum service’s collections have now been made available to visitors. One design shows a recently purchased Roman silver coin hoard (currently on display in the café area) and the other depicts one of the swords from the South Cave Weapons Cache (on permanent display at the Treasure House). The jigsaws can be found in the museum on the first floor of the Treasure House.
