Taste the Festival over a Coffee

On Saturday 14th May between 12pm and 3pm, a selection of artists appearing at this year’s Beverley Festival – Folk, Acoustic, Roots, will be hitting the towns café’s giving impromptu taster performances of what the public can expect to hear at this year’s festival.

As well as in the café’s, other acts such as Forro Porro will be found winding their way through the town centre streets of Beverley getting everyone in the ‘Festival Spirit’ with their South American Fiesta sounds.

Laura Mills, Festival Administrator said ‘we use every opportunity we can to spread the festival word. We are proud to offer something to suit all tastes and ages with music ranging from traditional and modern Folk, Americana, World, Salsa, Blues right through to Soul and Classic Rock/Pop.

We also have Traditional Dance teams, Comedy, Film, Spoken Word, workshops for all ages, free children’s events, a fantastic Craft, Food & Music fair, Real Ale bars and so much more. This year, there are more than 70 different acts performing at the festival over the weekend, some of these have won prestigious Radio 2 Awards. Where else are you going to find such acclaimed artists right on your doorstep? Our fantastic Youth programme gives young performers the means to be heard by an audience from around the globe.
