West View Camping’s location and facilities are proving a popular draw for more and more visitors to the area.
Located just a mile from Beverley in Woodmansey, the site is only in its second year and recently played host to one of its biggest events yet.
The Heinkel Trojan Club, a group dedicated to the famous old bubble car, held their AGM at West View Camping earlier this month and it proved to be a major success.
Owner Darren Daw told HU17.net why visitor numbers are increasing.
He said: “The first year was just a trial to see what interest we got.
“After quite a few enquiries over the winter closed season we soon realised our site was becoming popular and the word had got out on the ideal countryside location, which was only a mile from the centre of Beverley.
“Surprisingly there are not many sites within such close distance of Beverley, especially so as it is a popular tourist destination.
“The Heinkel Trojan Club approached us some time back to hold their AGM meeting at our site in June.
“We gladly agreed and the event over the weekend was a great success for ourselves at West View Camping and the Heinkel Trojan Club.”
