The Green Dragon Pub Beverley is holding a Quizathon this Saturday in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Starting at 9am a quiz will be held each and every hour until 9pm. Prizes will be awarded for the individual quiz’s with a 9 gallon barrel of beer being given to the team with the most points overall.
Landlady of the Green Dragon Glyn Clarke said;
“The pub is well known locally for having a good weekly quiz so this seemed perfect.”
“This is a chance to challenged teams in the area who think they are the best at pub quizzes.”
“A number of local businesses have been very supportive donating prizes. The Kings Head, The Chocolate Rabbit Company, Lee Garden,
Boyes and De Lacy Spa are just some of the companies.”
The Green Dragon has been running a number of events for the past two years raising money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
To date the Green Dragon has raised well over a £1000 for a charity and hopes to top that this year.
