Hodgsons FC continued their build up to the new season with a friendly against fellow Humber Premier League side Chalk Lane.
The Tanners took a two goal lead in the match though in the end drew the game 3 – 3.
Chalk Lane’s summer signing Michael O’connell looked dangerous and he seemed to relish playing against his former Beverley Town team mate Sam Overton who switched Norwood for Longcroft.
Manager Lee Hastings was pleased with the result which saw Ben Daniels grab a brace with Ben Thompson scoring one.
