Beverley Town Reserves knocked Hodgsons FC Reserves out of the cup this weekend at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
The match which was played in record breaking temperatures Town scored a goal in each half to win the derby match.
Towns goals came from Will Proud and Aiden Anderson.
Next weekend the teams first teams will meet in the East Riding County Cup, a match Beverley Town won last season 1 – 0 thanks a late strike by Michael O’connell.
