Kopac Helps Tickton To Victory Over Victoria Dock

AFC Tickton Terriers hosted Victoria Dock Rangers this weekend in what turned out to be two excellent games of football .

The first game saw AFC Tickton start the brighter of the two creating early chances for Bailey Young and Matty Hewitt who both went close , they kept the pressure on in the first half and were rewarded with a goal from close range from Matty Hewitt.

The second half saw the game open up with chances at both ends before Michael Kopac sealed it with a clinical finish from close range for a 2-0 win .

Rangers started the better in the second game and were rewarded with an early goal , this sparked Terriers into life as they moved into top gear,  Kopac equalising  with an precise strike just before the break . In the final period Terriers turned on the style and scored three more goals without reply , Kopac completed his hat-trick with an excellent solo effort for 2-1 , Bailey Young then shot from an accute angle after a fine run for 3-1 before Jacob Galloway made it 4-1 with an unstoppable shot from distance.

Ticktons all round play was excellent throughout as they showed consistency in both games for the first time this season .

Man of the match was Michael Kopac for his goals and determination with Jevon Mills managers pick as player of the day for his all round tireless performance.
