Beverley Building Society is the latest local business to get behind Beverley Armed Forces Day 2012.
This free one day event will be taking place in Beverley’s historic Saturday Market Place on Sunday 1st July thanks to donations from local people and businesses.
Beverley Building Society are giving £500 towards costs after contacting SSAFA Forces Help East Yorkshire to see how they could help ensure the event took place, this will now be its fourth year in existence.
David Elvidge event Chairman said
“The overwhelming and outstanding support shown for our event has been from all areas of the Community from residents stopping me in the street to donate cash sums to local businesses calling, like the Beverley Building Society and offering financial support.”
