Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision that happened on the A164 at Skidby, 200 metres north of Skidby roundabout at approximately 1525hrs on Saturday 07 July.
A motorcycle, ridden by a Hessle man, was travelling towards Beverley from the direction of Skidby and a silver coloured Audi was travelling in the opposite direction, driven by a 41-year-old Brough man.
The two vehicles were in collision near to the roadworks at Skidby, which resulted in the motorcyclist sustaining a fracture to the right leg. He was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment and detained for treatment.
The driver of a black 4×4 type vehicle stopped at the time and may have witnessed the collision, and officers are keen to trace that person and anyone else who witnessed the incident.
