The blue and golds have arranged their first pre-season friendly which will give Guy Adams a chance to see how his squad are progressing as they play against Adams’s old club Wortley Dragons on Saturday 18th August, the fixture will now be played at the Beverley Leisure Centre.
Adams has now finalised his ancillary staff welcoming on board fitness and conditioning guru Tom Beckett who will work alongside assistant coach Adam Wallis and players representative Lee Stevens.
Adams is happy with the amount of new faces at training however a creative pivotal half back remains on his shopping list. This has been a problem area for the club for a number of years.
Meanwhile away from the pitch tickets are selling fast for the club’s sports and charity dinner to held at the Beverley Racecourse on Saturday 20th October which the club is intending to turn into an annual event.
Tables of ten priced at £275 can be purchased, all enquiries should be directed to the event organiser Ian Pollard on 07779357988.
