Beverley opens up the second half of the season with their longest away trip to Northumberland on Saturday to take on Morpeth.
Having beaten Morpeth by 77 points to 3 at Beaver Park back in September, the Beavers could be forgiven for approaching the return fixture with the expectation of a comfortable win.
However, Head Coach Anthony Posa was quick to dispel any such notion.
“When we played them earlier in the season, we caught them on a day when everything went our way, and nothing went theirs.”
“They were missing several players due to farming commitments and, even so, so, did not deserve to lose by such a margin. They will be an entirely different proposition up there, and we are preparing for the match with the same degree of intensity as for any other.”
Beverley are without Richard Bussey, who was badly concussed last week against Sheffield and will select from the following squad.
L.Birch, Goran Jelencic, S.Atiola, Junior Tupai (capt),T.Tanumi, L.Atiola, Phil Duboulay, T.Steadman, D.Riches, Manu Kirkwood, S.Kerry, K.Renwick, A.Ogilvie, Criag Hancock, M.Adams, S.Nel, J.Pickets, Dave Worrall, J.Holland, T.Riby-French
